Director of Quality and P.I.

Description: A 100 bed hospital not far from Green Bay, WI and Lake Michigan seeks a Director of Quality and Performance Improvement. The Director will report to the CNE and is responsible for coaching, achieving targeted outcomes, will lead the Survey Readiness Team, will organize the medical staff peer review process and work closely with the COO, CNO, CMO and Risk Manager. The Director will be instrumental in providing support to organizational leaders, will serve as the internal expert, will deliver education on effective P.I. processes, and will serve as the expert on Joint Commission, State of Wisconsin, and CMS Hospital regulations. The Director will also supervise the Clinical Data Manager and will be an effective Change Agent. Requirements: A BSN is required. Candidates should have three years of coaching P.I. experience, as well as experience with data collection and successful outcomes within P.I. INTERIM Director of Quality and P.I. (RN)

Description: This Interim position will pay not only a salary of $80-90K but will pay housing and travel expenses and is for a period of three to six months. Location: Near beautiful Lake Michigan. This area is replete with history and culture which makes this 100 bed hospital a place that offers "quality of living." Position Focus: The Director of Quality will be responsible for developing performance improvement, collaborate with the CNO developing an annual budget, help in achieving data driven outcomes, and provide support to organizational leaders in developing initiatives. Description: Position Focus: The Director of Quality & PI acts as the organizational expert on all performance improvement matters, including methods, training and consulting. The Director is responsible for meeting regulatory standards including Joint Commission, state licensure and other regulations related to area of responsibility. He/She is responsible for the hospital's patient safety program and manages staff in the areas of quality, safety, infection prevention and care management. This Director will oversee approximately 15 FTE's and report to the hospital Vice President/Administrator. Organization: This is a 400+ bed, Joint Commission accredited acute-care hospital near the Norfolk, VA region.
