Interim Director of Laboratory Services

Description: A critical access hospital seeks a Director of Laboratory Services for a 3-month immediate interim assignment. The hospital is 2 hours east of Bangor, Maine in a beautiful scenic small town. Area has nice lakes, rivers and nice parks/scenery. The hospital is 25-bed critical access facility and serves population of over 14,000 in surrounding areas. The Director will oversee 15 FTE’s and will report to senior management. He/She will be responsible for all the functions within the Lab department, including the administrative and technical functions. The Lab processes 200K billables per year. Applicants must have a BS MT and hold ASCP certification. Clinical lab experience along with three to five years of supervisor/managerial experience are preferred.
