Summary:
Lead our Case Management Department to success! You’ll oversee operations, ensuring quality care, resource utilization, and compliance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
– Perform reviews for admissions, continued stays, and clinical documentation.
– Analyze treatment plans and coordinate activities for optimal outcomes.
– Conduct case audits to maintain standards and effectiveness.
– Provide guidance on program standards and expectations.
– Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
– Act as a resource for staff, physicians, and ancillary teams.
– Facilitate education and process improvements.
– Participate in quality improvement projects.
– Coordinate medical necessity denials management and appeals.
– Stay current with professional development.
Education & Experience:
– Nursing school graduate with a preference for a Bachelor of Science degree.
– Minimum three years of management experience.
– Active RN license in Ohio.
– Certification in Case Management preferred.
– Strong knowledge of utilization review.
