The natural merger of healthcare and information technology has brought some unforeseen issues to the playing field.  Think tradition versus innovation.  There’s a constant push and pull between the old and the new ways, and the healthcare industry is no exception to the trend.
But before you grab your skydiving gear to prove to the world you’re still a hip and progressive risk-taker, take heart in this fact: Many health care providers simply prefer to connect with patients and their conditions firsthand, without the numbers, lights and noises to distract them and turn an otherwise human relationship into one of a robotic nature.  And although the majority of physicians use social media for purposes of diagnosis and continuing education, may are wary of the technology that is a part of the healthcare setting. What could be wrong with innovation?
