Merraine Group has been exclusively retained by Granville Health System for their next Executive Director Ambulatory Services & Outpatient Practices.  This is a newly created position based on growth and expansion.  Located in Oxford, NC, Granville Health System has been delivering quality healthcare throughout Granville County and north central North Carolina for over 100 years.

Reporting to the CEO, The Executive Director of Ambulatory Services and Outpatient Practices is responsible for the leadership and operational management of Granville Health System’s Ambulatory Surgery Facility (ASF) and outpatient practices. This role involves ensuring high-quality patient care, financial management, compliance with healthcare regulations, and the effective integration of services across the health system.

Position Focus Executive Director Ambulatory Services & Outpatient Practices

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for ambulatory services and
• outpatient practices, aligning with the overall objectives of Granville Health System.
• Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality,
• service, and cost-effective management of resources.
• Financial Oversight: Manage the budget for ambulatory and outpatient services, including financial planning, analysis, and optimization of resources.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest standards of patient care and compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
• Staff Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of healthcare professionals and
• administrative staff.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with medical staff, department heads, and administrative
• leadership to integrate services and improve patient care.
• Innovation: Foster an environment of innovation and continuous improvement in patient care
• and operational processes.
• Community Engagement: Represent Granville Health System in the community and develop partnerships that enhance service offerings and patient care.

Requirements for Executive Director Ambulatory Services & Outpatient Practices

• Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare administration, with
• a focus on ambulatory and outpatient services.
• Experience opening and running an Ambulatory Surgery Center from the ground up is highly desired.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a complex healthcare organization.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
